Chunk Hopper

A funnel for the whole chunk — with filter, shredder and chest network up to tier IV.

Chunk Hopper

The Chunk Hopper collects every item in the entire chunk — the ultimate solution for drop chaos on farms. Maximum one per chunk.

Collected items are pushed into directly adjacent chests (including downwards). Portal particles above the hopper indicate that it’s working. Breaking it returns the item to your inventory.

Where to get

Crafting/recipes → “Chunk Hopper”: 4× Obsidian, 4× Hopper, 1× Netherite Ingot in the middle
VaronxShop 30,000 Varonx — the shortcut for the impatient
Boss Arena 3 % jackpot chance for the spawner winner

Filter & Shredder

Sneak + right‑click with an empty hand opens the filter menu (works on regular hoppers too):

  • 5 filter slots — click items into them or add with Shift‑click
  • Whitelist/Blacklist toggleable
  • Shredder: destroys the filtered items instead of collecting them — for farms whose by‑products are just junk. The filter determines exactly what gets shredded.

The Network

From here the collector becomes a sorting system: the hopper distributes into linked chests, even farther away — with a material filter per chest.

How to link: In the filter menu sits the Network button (Ender eye). Left‑click starts network mode, right‑click purchases the upgrade. Then:

  • Right‑click a chest with an empty hand → Capture chest (takes everything)
  • Right‑click with an item in hand → Filter chest for that exact material
  • Click again with the same item → expand filter; click again with empty hand → unlink
  • Click the hopper to exit the mode (or wait 60 seconds)

Distribution order: First the chests whose filter matches, then the capture chests. “Chest 1: logs, Chest 2: rest” works literally.

Double chests count as a single link. Targets need your build permission, and if a linked chest is broken, the link is removed and you receive a message.

The network isnot a chunk loader— chests in unloaded chunks are skipped until someone is nearby again. It also understands the virtualStacker stacks: a 512‑item pile is taken out in portions, nothing disappears.
