Stacker
Mobs and ground items stack into a single entry — keeping kills, loot and XP fair.
Stacker
So that large farms don’t cripple the server, mobs and ground items stack: instead of 400 zombies you see one with the label 400x Zombie.
Items on the ground
Identical items within range combine every two seconds — up to 512 per stack. When you pick them up you get the whole stack in normal stack sizes; if it doesn’t all fit, the remainder stays on the ground with a corrected display. Nothing is ever lost — hoppers only pull what fits.
The limit is 4,096 items per chunk: beyond that nothing further is combined, nothing is deleted.
Mobs
Identical mobs stack within an 8‑block radius. The caps are tiered by usefulness: farm mobs like zombies and skeletons up to 1,024, creepers and blazes up to 512, livestock deliberately only up to 64.
Never stacked: villagers, iron golems, named or tamed animals, Pets , bosses — anything that is an individual stays as one.
The fairness rules
The most important things for farmers:
- One hit kills one mob. A stack of 500 requires 500 kills and yields exactly 500× the loot — no multiplier, no loss.
- Environmental death hits the whole stack: lava, fall damage, suffocation, drowning kill them all at once, with the full loot. Lava farms therefore work exactly as intended.
- Fire, poison and wither count as combat damage — a flaming arrow won’t dispense a stack.
- XP per stack death is capped at 20,000.
- Shears, milking, name tags only release a single animal from the stack — the herd remains intact.
The Stacker works together with thePerformance-System : under high server load it combines more aggressively, never deletes. Your farm keeps running — just cleaner.
