Death Chest

If you die, your items won't be scattered around — they end up entirely in a Death Chest at the death location, with a hologram showing your name and a second‑precise countdown.

The Rules

  • 30 minutes. After that the chest dissolves and the contents drop as normal items — with their usual despawn timer.
  • The chest is indestructible — cannot be broken, no explosions.
  • If you die in the air, the chest finds the ground below. It never floats in empty space.
  • If the contents are empty, it disappears instantly.

Getting Back

Two ways:

  1. /back — free, teleports you once to the death location.
  2. The teleport button in the death message — costs 5,000 Coins, works only for you.

Honest Warning

Anyone who finds the chest can open it — your claim protects it on your land, not in the open wilderness. The Death Chest prevents scattering and despawn, but it is not a vault. Whoever is faster than you can loot it.

When There Is No Chest

  • Logging out during combat — that counts as death, and the items drop normally. This is intentional, see Combat & PvP .
  • Items with Soulbound stay with you anyway, insured items return via the Insurance .

For lava and void deaths the chest helps where it can — but against the void the only options are the perk "Rescue from the Void" or theItem Insurance .
