The tasks range from “mine ten stones” to “defeat the Warden”.

Crafting tasks: At a regular crafting table, only the items you actually craft count, not the displayed recipe. A successful recipe that yields four planks counts as four planks. With Shift‑click the executed amount is counted; failed or aborted attempts give no progress. This also applies to server‑wide crafting goals.

Clickable notifications

When a quest is completed, its reward is automatically granted through the normal quest completion. The clickable chat message opens the overview; it does not grant the reward again. Other systems with their own pickup retain their respective pickup menus.

Keeping an objective in view

With Shift‑click on an achievement you pin that objective. Its progress bar stays visible at the top of the screen even outside the menu. Another Shift‑click unpins it. Alternatively use /quests pin <ID> or /quests unpin; the objective ID is shown next to the entry in the menu.

You can track one objective at a time: either an achievement or a Pass task. A new selection replaces the previous one. The selection persists across logins; deleted or no‑longer‑valid objectives are not shown. A completed achievement shows its full progress, even if its running counter has already been removed.

Under /bossbar you control Pinned objectives independently of the Pass‑level display. If this category or the bossbar main switch is off, the pin is saved but hidden. Pinning only changes your display: no extra rewards, no progress bonus, and no second payout.

Displays and background counters

A reload of the quest system by the team does not grant any additional progress on its own. Disabled background counters and old menu or session continuations must not count toward the new system afterwards. Your active objective continues to follow the normal conditions and goals. The objective display does not pay out already completed objectives again.

Collections

Collections track how much of something you have gathered — lifetime, across all sessions. At certain thresholds there are rewards that are paid out once.

Daily challenges

In addition to quests there are daily skill challenges with their own series. Completing at least one challenge on consecutive days builds a streak. There are milestones for 7, 14, and 30 days — each paid out once; a broken and rebuilt streak does not pay them again.
