Protect plots
How to secure your build from unauthorized access, whitelist friends, and set up sub-areas.

Plots
A plot protects everything inside it: blocks, chests, animals, redstone. Without a claim, your build is free for all.
Creating
Place a chest and type /claim. The area around the chest will then belong to you.
How much you can claim depends on your claim blocks. You get them through playtime, via the Season Pass or as a voucher.
Granting access to others
| Command | What the other can do |
|---|---|
/trust <Name> | Everything except dissolving the plot |
/visitor <Name> | Only enter and view |
/block <Name> | Nothing — specifically keeps someone away |
/untrust, /unvisitor and /unblock revoke each respectively.
For all your plots at once there are /globaltrust, /globaluntrust, /globalblock and /globalunblock.
Sub‑areas
Within a plot you can create sub‑areas with their own permissions. Handy for a ground‑floor shop that anyone can enter while the rest stays locked:
/subclaimtrust <Name>
/subclaimblock <Name>
Additional commands
| Command | Effect |
|---|---|
/claimtp | Teleport to one of your plots |
/claimshare | Share administrative rights |
/claimlock | Lock so nothing is changed accidentally |
/claimauctions | Auction and bid on plots |
If you wonder who owns something: stand still and look at the chat when you enter the plot. The owner will be displayed.
