Server market, bazaar, auction house and chest shops — what each is good for, and how to find the best price everywhere.

Trade

Veylor has four trading systems. Short version before we get into details:

SystemCommandWhat it’s for
Server Market/marketInstantly sell/buy from the server — always available, but with dynamic prices
Bazaar /bazaarOrder book between players — best prices for bulk goods
Auction House/ahSingle items: enchanted items, gear, special stuff
Chest Shops /shopYour own shop on your plot

Plus /trade <player> for direct hand‑to‑hand swapping.

Server Market

/market buys and sells instantly, in stacks of 1 to 64. /market sellall empties your inventory of anything that matches the item in your hand — /market lock protects individual items from that.

Prices are alive: When an item is sold in mass, its sell price drops in stages (‑10 % up to a maximum of ‑60 %) and recovers once the flood subsides. The item description shows the current discount with 📉. Those with patience sell after the recovery — those without take the discount.

/market rebuy buys back your last sale at the same price — the rescue for an accidentally sold diamond sword.

Auction House

/ah sell <price> lists the item in your hand. Multiple stacks can be bundled into a bundle in the selling menu.

  • Listing fee: 1 % of the price (minimum 10 Coins)
  • Duration: 7 days, after which the item ends up in /ah expired
  • Default 5 simultaneous auctions, more with higher ranks

The binding method is the Buy‑Now. Bids can be enabled per auction — they are just a signal of interest to the seller, not an automatic win.

Direct Trade

/trade <player> opens a shared window after both accept: nine item slots per page plus Coins. Only when both click Ready does a 3‑second countdown start — last‑second changes no longer apply. For remote trading without meeting there is Cash on Delivery by Mail .

Finding the Best Price

Three tools search all four systems at once:

  • /marktsuche — with an item in hand or by name. Two views: where you can buy cheapest, where you can sell highest. For chest shops whose owners allow it, you can teleport directly (costs 1,000–20,000 Coins depending on distance).
  • /preisalarm unter <Item> <Preis> bzw. ueber — you get notified as soon as an offer anywhere crosses your threshold. Up to 10 alerts, checked every 3 minutes.
  • /itemwert <Tage> — the true average price of the item in your hand over the past days. /itembrowse shows trends, /itempricechart draws the price history on a map.

Trading with a total value of 100,000 Coins triggers a server‑wideWhale‑Alert. Big deals don’t stay secret.
